Raven Daley

Raven Nicole Daley is an award-winning children’s author, publisher, storyteller, and advocate for diverse representation in children’s literature. As the founder and publisher of Daley Publishing Co., Raven is dedicated to creating meaningful stories that celebrate the life experiences of Black and Brown children. Her work emphasizes love, empowerment, and identity, encouraging young readers to embrace their uniqueness.

Raven is the author of the award-winning children’s books Kingston’s Mane and Oh Brother! I’m a Big Brother, which celebrate Black boyhood, family, identity, and the experiences that shape young children. Her work has been recognized with Clara J. John’s Literary Awards, including 1st Place for Best Picture Book and Illustration for Kingston’s Mane and 3rd Place for Best Early Reader Book for Oh Brother! I’m a Big Brother.

Through Daley Publishing Co., Raven also works with aspiring authors to help bring their stories to life through the publishing process. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The College of Saint Rose and a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Excelsior University, Raven brings a wealth of expertise to her publishing endeavors.

She is also a proud mother to two vibrant boys, Kingston Hollis Daley and Kaufman Sincere Daley, who inspire her storytelling journey every day.

When Raven isn’t writing or publishing, she shares authentic conversations through her content for women, mothers, and friends.
