Ms. Daley came into our school to share her love of reading and writing with our scholars. She read her book, "Kingston's Mane" to our first, second and third graders. Her presentation was well organized and engaging! She added a comprehension component after reading the story, and had the girls interactively answer questions. She truly is a role model for others to follow their dreams. We even had a third grader who was so inspired she wrote her own "book" about how to regulate emotions. We cannot wait to have her back in the building again!
It was truly a pleasure to have Raven come and read to our school. The kids really loved the book! They said they wanted to read it again! Raven had a great presentation and questions to keep the kids engaged! Great job!
